Here's Why The Color Purple Is Trending
Actress Elizabeth Banks really tried to get woke on us. She talked about women in film and said that it's ridiculous that Steven Spielberg never directed a movie with a female lead.

But there's one problem. He directed The Color Purple, which of course has Whoopi Goldberg as the lead. While many might see this as a regular oversight, it speaks to a larger problem. So often white feminism ignores the progress and existence of black women. So Elizabeth Banks, in trying to prop up feminism, ignored black women. Typical. Take a look at how Twitter got her together and went after people trying to diminish the movie's impact.
